Understand what your cybersecurity controls can demonstrate

A focused review of selected controls, responsibilities and evidence across your firm’s technology environment. Know what was tested, what the results support and what needs attention.

Define the questions before collecting the evidence

Depending on your priorities, a review can examine how access is granted and removed, how critical providers are overseen, how selected cloud controls are managed or how incident and continuity procedures connect to actual responsibilities.

The scope determines which systems, controls and periods are covered. We do not treat a short assessment as an exhaustive review of every technology risk.

How the assessment works

1. Establish the scope. Agree the questions, participants, systems, period and evidence requirements.

2. Understand the operation. Use interviews and walkthroughs to understand how the selected controls are intended to work.

3. Examine and test. Review documentation and selected evidence. Record exceptions, missing information and limits on the conclusions.

4. Discuss and prioritize. Validate factual observations with the relevant owners and present a practical action plan.

A report your team can use

Your firm approves priorities and assigns action owners. Retesting and implementation support can be added through a defined follow-up scope.

From each finding to a clear next action

Every documented finding connects the control objective to the evidence reviewed, the conclusion it supports and the action needed. Your team can see what remains unresolved and who needs to make a decision.

We distinguish between a control that did not operate, a weakness in its design and missing evidence. That distinction helps your firm choose the right response and retain a useful record of follow-up.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a penetration test?

No. This service examines selected risks, controls and evidence. Penetration testing is not included in the standard scope.

Do you need administrator access?

Not by default. We agree the minimum access or evidence needed for the work. Any technical activity requires specific authorization.

How long does it take?

We agree a timeline after defining the scope, participants and evidence availability. Delays in information or changes in scope can affect delivery.

Can you help address findings?

Yes. We can scope follow-up testing, advisory support or targeted technical remediation separately.
